Come aboard our award winning 3.5 hour cruise of Maria Island National Park or Ile Des Phoques, and come face to face with something wild and wonderful… Intimately observe remote coastlines, with both islands showing off their fascinating and unique geology. Be given the chance to meet to local wildlife: wild seals, dolphins, albatross, eagles, gannets, and whales (during migration). You never know who might come to greet you on the water… Critique natures artistry at the famous Painted Cliffs, be dwarfed by the ancient and towering Fossil Cliffs, uncover limestone sea caves, spring-fed waterfalls, blow holes, remote pristine beaches, dramatic mountain ranges, and rare geological marvels. Those with a penchant for sea caves and Australian Fur Seals are drawn to our Saturday cruise to Ile Des Phoques. The remote granite Island a haven for marine life, and home to a bustling colony of seals. Explore the hidden corners of the island, venturing deep into Tasmania’s largest rainbow, granite sea caves. Bring your own lunch and snacks to enjoy on board the boat, where we will drop the anchor come lunch time, for food with a view. Complimentary drinks of juice, soda water, tea and coffee will be provided on board. Alcoholic drinks, soda cans and ice cream will be available for purchase on the cruise. Each cruise will depart Triabunna marina at 10:00am and return at 2:00pm that afternoon. Your cruise will include expert commentary on the history of Maria Island's World Heritage listed convict settlement, renowned geology and marine ecosystems. We know Maria well - it's our back yard.
