Make the most of summer with an afternoon cruise along the Gordon River. Operating from 29 December to 20 January, the cruise will include a buffet dinner, a 1-hour guided tour on Sarah Island and a 30-minute walk at Heritage Landing on the Gordon River. You will be able to choose from standard, premium or gold seating when booking. Depart Strahan Wharf aboard a purpose-built catamaran. Cruise towards Hells Gates, the narrow-channel entrance to Macquarie Harbor. Pass ocean trout and Atlantic salmon farms en-route to Sarah Island. Discover the island on a 1-hour guided tour. Travel into the majestic World Heritage listed Gordon River. Rediscover serenity while gliding deep into the ancient rainforest. Disembark at Heritage Landing for a stroll along a boardwalk through the rainforest. Enjoy engaging on-board commentary enriched with local anecdotes along the way. A delicious buffet dinner will be included and freshly prepared daily. Savor local smoked salmon, cold meats, a large selection of salads, fresh fruit, Tasmanian cheeses and local bakery bread. There will also be a licensed bar on-board, where you will be able to purchase drinks and snacks throughout the cruise.Includes
