Tour Description
The tour begins with a scenic drive up to the 1272m summit of Kunanyi (Mt Wellington), where you have 30 minutes to explore boardwalks, lookouts, and an observation shelter overlooking Hobart and its surroundings.
Next, visit the historic township of Richmond in the Coal Valley wine region. Walk through streets featuring convict-era sandstone buildings, Australia's oldest bridge, oldest intact gaol, and the Catholic church. Richmond also offers opportunities to sample local food and wine, have lunch, and browse art and craft shops.
