This full-day tour from Hobart ensures that you have maximum time at the site. You’ll cross the Tasman Bridge, and head out on the Tasman Highway over the Pitwater Causeway onto Forestier Peninsula. Admire the pristine beauty of Pirates Bay, Eaglehawk Neck, and Norfolk Bay. Visit Abel Tasman National Park, where you’ll marvel at the spectacle of Tasman Arch and enjoy superb views of the rugged coastline. You’ll be amazed at the magnitude of the Devil's Kitchen! Finally, you’ll have a chance to explore Port Arthur, where you’ll take a guided walking tour of the historic convict site, with access to over 30 restored buildings and ruins. See the penitentiary, the separate prison, the commandant's house, the church, and more. On Saturdays, the tour includes a visit to Hobart’s Salamanca Market. Delight in a shopping experience at this popular, colourful outdoor marketplace. You'll have time to explore the market at leisure for approximately 2 hours. Then, you will need to meet your coach at 11:00 to continue on with the Port Arthur tour and acquire a sense of Australia’s convict era and the early settlement of Tasmania.
