Description

Board a heritage steam train and journey through the spectacular Blue Mountains. Choose from multiple route options, including a round trip from Clarence to Bottom Points and back, with a stop at Top Points for a locomotive run-around. Enjoy the views of sandstone cliffs, lush forests, and sweeping valleys as you travel. At each terminus, watch the steam engine in action as it repositions, and take the opportunity to explore the surroundings, café, shop, and photo stops. Learn about the history and engineering significance of the historic line, originally built in the 1860s and now restored and maintained by volunteers. Access station facilities, including a café and souvenir shop, during your visit. Take advantage of walkable viewing areas at stations for photo opportunities and scenic landscapes. Note that toilets are available at all stations, but not on board the train.

• Toilets are available at all stations, but none on board the train Wheelchair access is limited (stairs only access at Zig Zag station on some routes) When arriving by train via NSW TrainLink’s Blue Mountains line, ask the guard at Mt Victoria to stop at Zig Zag; then walk ~5 mins from platform to Bottom Points check-in Some services or routes may not run on certain days due to track works or maintenance
