Description

Recognised worldwide for its sheer beauty, Cradle Mountain is not to be missed while visiting Tasmania. On this 11-hour day tour, you'll begin by enjoying the scenic beauty of Tasmania as you make your way north from Hobart. This long day of travelling and exploring is broken down to include plenty of time to stretch the legs, grab a coffee and something to eat in between each stop (at your own cost). Upon arrival at the Cradle Mountain Information Centre, stock up on fluids and make your way to the shores of Dove Lake. Here, you'll have 2 hours to wander around the Dove Lake circuit or choose one of the many other walks of varying sizes. Once Dove Lake has been explored, it’s time to move on to the Enchanted Forest and King Billy Pine walks. These two exceptionally beautiful walks will have you gazing through the forest with delight as you breathe in the crisp, pristine air from under the canopy of 4000-year-old trees. Native wildlife is abundant in this area, so keep your eyes peeled and you may see the elusive Tasmanian Devil, Wombats, Spotted Quolls, and Wallabies. After 4.5 hours exploring, it's time to head East to Launceston, where our driver will provide drop-off at your accommodation in the city centre. This tour departs Hobart at 7:00 AM and arrives in Launceston by 6:00 PM. (Please note you will need to source your accommodation in Launceston at your own cost.)
