The @ VDL Stanley offers three magnificent, well-designed suites. The King Loft, features a super-king bed, mini-bar, a well equipped kitchen, and has its own courtyard. It's spacious and has a dining table to seat six. Both King Suites also feature super-king beds, one suite has a superb view of the Nut. The King Suites also have a sofa-bed each, so can be used to accommodate four persons in each suite. All suites feature high ceilings and majestic giant beams, polished concrete vanity tops, a separate shower and a deep bath for a luxurious soak. @VDL Stanley was originally the Van Diemen's Land Company store, built in 1843. The architect was John Lee Archer whose other credits include the Ross Bridge and Parliament House. He is buried in Stanley.
