Amelia's Cottage is number one in a street of beautifully restored cottages. With it being a short walk to the beach, park or centre of town it is ideally positioned. It is also close to the highway so perfect if you are after a quick getaway after your stay. It was built and lived in by one of the first Mayors of Burnie and has modern amenties as well as lovely antiques.
The three bedrooms accommodate up to six people.
Amelias is fully self-contained and full breakfast provisions are provided
Lynne and Titch, the owners, also have another two renovated cottages for guests to stay in, Mrs Philpotts and The Duck House. The Duck House is located one house away around a corner in Queen Street, with Mrs Philpotts next to that. In fact the dividing fences have been removed so a vegetable and herb garden can be accessed by all three.
Broadband internet is available.
