Doubling up as a restaurant and wine bar, Garagistes puts equal care and attention into their cuisine and beverages. The menu at Garagistes is put together daily, made using seasonally grown, foraged local ingredients to complement their extensive international list of natural wines. With dishes ranging from snacks to full meals, Garagistes is the ideal location for a glass of wine or an extended evening full of delicious treats.
The food used at Garagistes celebrates local produce from local growers, fishermen and farmers. All food is prepared as much as possible in-house, including baking, smoking, curing and pickling, whilst specialty items are created by local artisans. The evening menu comprises of foods for ‘communal dining’, allowing guests to share their dishes as part of a progressive meal, adding to the social factors that food and wine can provide.
The wines chosen at Garagistes are carefully thought about, with personality, freshness and compatibility with food all being prime aspects. Some wines are sourced from small artisan growers in order to understand the wine’s personalities.
