Your professional guide collects you from your Cradle Mountain accommodation. The tour begins with a drive into Cradle Mountain National Park to Ronny Creek. Weather permitting, the group leaves the bus with hand-held torches and spotlights for a slow walk toward Mount Kate Hut to observe nocturnal animals feeding.

The walk continues along boardwalks in the Cradle Valley Walk area and possibly part of the Overland Track, with good opportunities to see wombats and other wildlife.

From Waldheim Chalet, the tour spotlights from the bus along the road and into the forest in search of elusive animals before returning to your accommodation.
