Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive and explore Hobart city at your leisure. Accommodation is included at the 4-star Movenpick Hotel.
Day 2: Choose between a day trip to the MONA Museum or an Iron Pot Cruise. Both activities are unguided.
Day 3: Discover the Hobart waterfront, Mt Wellington summit (1270m), historic Female Factory, Cascade Brewery, and Australia’s oldest convict structures. Lunch at a local winery. Visit Richmond’s historic bridge and the Denison Canal. Continue to Tasman Peninsula with stops at Pirates Bay lookout, Tasman’s Arch, and Devils Kitchen. Overnight at Port Arthur.
Day 4: Enjoy a 2.5-hour fully guided tour of the Port Arthur Historic Site, exploring original convict buildings. Visit Federation Chocolates and Port Arthur Lavender Farm. Travel up Tasmania’s east coast, stopping at Raspins Beach, Spikey Bridge, and Spikey Beach. Optional evening activity to spot Fairy Penguins.
Day 5: See the Blow Hole on Bicheno’s coastline, visit East Coast Nature World with a Tasmanian Devil feeding, and stroll the Bay of Fires’ white sandy beaches. Enjoy fresh oysters at Lease 65 Oyster Farm. Overnight at Best Western PLUS Launceston.
Day 6: Unguided morning for free time before hotel checkout by 11am. Guests may relax or explore Launceston city.
