Description
The tour begins early in Hobart with a scenic drive and ferry ride to Bruny Island. Once on the island, guests hike part of the Cape Queen Elizabeth Trail, covering about 8 km return to Mars Bluff, Miles Beach, and the Bruny Arch rock formation. The trail includes a 10-15 minute uphill climb to Mars Bluff and passes between Big Lagoon and Little Lagoon, known for local waterbirds.
After the hike, the group ascends 279 steps to Truganini Lookout for panoramic views of The Neck, the land bridge between North and South Bruny. The tour then visits Two Tree Point to share local history before a lunch break at Adventure Bay, where participants can relax with a picnic or buy food at a nearby café.
The afternoon features tastings at the Bruny Island Chocolate Factory, Honey, Cheese Co., and Get Shucked Oysters, providing a rich local gourmet experience.
