Bicheno East Coast Holiday Park operates under the accredited Green Star Logo, an Australian-wide quality program administered in Tasmania by the Tourism Industry Council of Tasmania. A great place to stay for the night or spend a few weeks, soaking up the sun and fresh air, delight in everything nature has to offer, in this picturesque beachside town, from adorable penguins to an abundance of sea and birdlife. With the beach at your doorstep, you can enjoy swimming, surfing, scuba diving, sailing, and fishing. Outdoor activities include; tennis, table tennis, walking, golf, plus much more. Golf clubs can be hired at the news agency across the road. It’s just a short walk to the shops, supermarket, library, cafes, bakery, and galleries. A public bus stop is conveniently located over the road for connections to Coles Bay, Freycinet National Park, St Helens, Launceston and Hobart. Penguin Tours are a 3 minute walk away. By car you can visit; Governor Island Marine Reserve is under 5min away, East Coast Nature World is less than 10min away, Iron House Brewery 30min, Coles Bay 45min, and Douglas Apsley National Park, under 2hr away.
