Cherry Top Farmstay is just one kilometre from the Lilydale post office, and 26km from Launceston in Tasmania's north. In the relaxed setting of a 15 acre farm are two self-contained cottages sleeping up to six people.
'Cherry Top' has two bedrooms with a queen-size bed in one and two singles in the other. There is also a sofa bed in the lounge area. Outside is a bbq and deck from where you can sit back and enjoy the surrounds. 'Cherry Top' is tucked away on the farm in its own very private spot.
'Eagle Park' is of mud brick construction with an open plan design. A queen-size bed and two single beds are in a large room, and the sofa in the lounge area converts to a double bed. The stainless steel kitchen, stringy bark floorboards and country views set this cottage apart.
Your hosts, Lesley and John, provide breakfast provisions and are happy to show you around the farm, and have you collect the eggs from the chooks or vegies from the garden.
