Natone Lodge is found in the rich farming hinterland of Tasmania's North West. The fully self-contained cottage is the ideal rural retreat after time spent exploring or taking advantage of the two trout stocked, onsite dams to go fly fishing in.
Just a short drive inland from Burnie and handy to the Ferry terminal in Devonport, the Natone Lodge at Upper Natone will allow you to relax, whatever your day has involved. Sit back on the verandah and enjoy being in the country. Or have a stroll around the nine acre property.
Gunns Plains Caves and Wings Wildlife Park are nearby attractions. Jenny your host and owner is friendly and full of information on what to see and enjoy whilst staying here. She is also an agent for Inland Fisheries if you need to obtain a fishing license.
The Natone Lodge is fully self-contained and sleeps up to five people, with a Queen size bed, three single beds plus a handy sofa bed. The kitchen has everything you would expect and there is also a bbq you can fire up. Breakfast baskets can be provided, with notice.
Electric heating will keep you warm in the cooler months. The verandah has wood heating to enjoy whilst sitting outside.
If you wish to bring a pet, have a talk with Jenny in advance of your stay as these can usually be catered for.
Incorporated onsite is the Natone Hills Fly Fishery with expert tuition available (with notice) and introductory courses run from time to time.
