Smelters Restaurant is not only the largest restaurant in Queenstown, but it also serves up delicious dishes to the backdrop of incredible scenic views of the mountain range. Smelters Restaurant includes an open log fire, helping to create a warm and cosy atmosphere to team with the friendly and welcoming staff. Casual bar seating is available as well as a dozen window tables, allowing diners to soak up the incredible views and perhaps even to watch the sunset over Mount Owen and Mount Lyell.
With an extensive a la carte menu to choose from of eclectic Australian cuisine, Smelters Restaurant serves up a range of meat, seafood and vegetarian entrees, mains and desserts, catering for children and including gluten free options. Particularly praised is the restaurant’s lamb rogan josh, not to mention the deliciously sounding rocky road pancakes. A wide variety of wines and other drinks are also available to accompany your food.
Open most days for breakfast and dinner, Smelters makes a great location for functions and weddings for up to 90 people.
