Opening its doors in the beautiful heart of Stanley in 2009, Xanders restaurant serves up fine produce of the local north west Tasmanian region. With most of the ingredients being sourced from within a 20km radius, Xanders is the ideal place to try out some of the foods Tasmania has to offer. With a lovely view of the little town of Stanley, as well as views of striking sunsets, the restaurant has a great lively atmosphere with an efficient and friendly service.
Using the freshest ingredients possible, the restaurant serves a menu with flair and imagination. With a selection of seafood, meat and vegetarian dishes, examples off the menu include the likes of tempura oysters served with a wasabi mayo, tandoori quail breast, butternut pumpkin risotto and pinot poached pair. A kids menu is also available to satisfy the little ones along with an extensive drinks menu, including an excellent range of wines, beers, soft drinks and hot drinks.
