A Classic Cottage at Port Arthur

CottagesSelf ContainedPet Friendly

A Classic Cottage is the 2007 Australian (National) Winner for Budget Accommodation in the inaugural Take A Break Awards and has been a finalist every year to date. Want to get away from it all and relax in a quaint, rustic setting, A Classic Cottage is just the spot! Clean and cosy, catering for families, couples, singles, and pets. Set in a tranquil, bush setting which is only metres from the ocean, it also has spectacular views and glorious sunsets, overlooking the historic Long Bay shoreline. The cottage is fully equipped, self-contained, with a double bedroom, kitchen, living room, and bathroom. Choose from reverse cycle air-conditioning, or a romantic log fire, this cottage sleeps up to 4 people. No television available. Option: available with linen or not. The hosts, Denis and Raquel are extremely knowledgeable about the area. For a scrumptious home cooked seafood meal, pick fresh Oysters from the rocks by the jetty and/or go fishing for a large fresh Cod just 10 minutes from your cottage. Breakfast is available upon request at extra charge. Within easy access to walking tracks, pristine beaches, the penguin colony, shop, the Taranna Devil Park and Federation Chocolate Factory. Lemo's Seafood and Roast Restaurant is just 11mins walk from the cottage. At the door of Fortescue Bay National Park, and nearby state forests, witness the highest sea cliffs in Australia and the three Capes, Pillar, Huay and Raoul.
