Situated right in the heart of the lifestyle precinct of Elizabeth Street is the original one of Annapurna’s three Indian restaurants dotted around Australia. Opening in 2000 and winning numerous prizes and awards since, Annapurna’s has built up quite a reputation amongst locals and tourists alike for its fine food. With a constant full house and high customer satisfaction, the team at Annapurna’s aim to carry on the vision of its founder, Gopal Singh Manral, to provide delicious foods in a relaxed environment.
Menus are tailored for lunch, dinner, banquets and takeaways, with a wide range of desserts and drinks also available. Curries can be served mild, medium or hot to accommodate everyone’s tastes and all main dishes come with complimentary rice.
Private functions can be catered to for up to 45 people at the North Hobart restaurant, in a private room upstairs, with a range of banquets available to choose from.
