From Port Arthur: Tasman Island Wilderness Cruise
654 ReviewsThis Tasman Island cruise provides an unforgettable 3-hour wilderness trip along the spectacular coastline between Port Arthur and Eaglehawk Neck in southern Tasmania.
“Our World is Your Oyster” could not be more of an apt motto from Barilla Bay, who offer far more than just a place to sample some exquisite seafood, including their oyster specialities. Visitors will also find Barilla Bay’s very own Worcestershire sauce and stout brands, made from unique spices and ingredients; the stout, for example, is based on an old Irish recipe then combined with actual oysters! There are also a range of delicious Tasmanian cheeses and honey, an extensive selection of domestic wines and lots of other merchandise, perfect to take back as a gift from Hobart.
Back to the menu, diners will find that Barilla Bay isn’t all about oysters (although you should try a least a few of their trademark delights); house cured ocean trout with a potato and egg salad, seared Tasmanian scallops and Kansas style pulled pork are all equally as scrumptious.
For oyster lovers, you won’t find a better deal than the “Shucking Awesome” Oyster Platter in which 30 of their delicious oysters are lovingly cooked and prepared, with the chef’s selected toppings to go with them.
