Starting in 1999 as a small café to grab a bite, Fresh on Charles has become one of Launceston’s most loved cafés.
Originally a five-table, two-person enterprise, a reputation for healthy and tasty vegetarian, vegan, gluten free and raw food has earned Fresh a big slice of Launceston’s diners.
With a retro vibe in a beautiful location, Fresh now boasts a café, restaurant, sundeck, bar and entertainment venue alongside boutique accommodation with two self-contained serviced apartments. Opposite the lovely Princes Square, Fresh provides an unbeatable blend of quality food and ambience.
Only fresh, local and organic produce is used wherever possible. Go there for an all-day breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner or cocktails. The varied menu is an imaginative creation of meals including pizza, noodles, risotto and dumplings. For breakfast the choice ranges from bagels to baked eggs or roast vegetables.
For groups of 25 or more the restaurant will open Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday nights.
Monday to Thursday: 8am - 3pm
Friday: 8am - 3pm, 6pm - late
Saturday: 8am - 3pm
Closed Sunday and public holidays
