Magic Curries

Situated in Hobart in the historic Battery Point, Magic Curries is a family-run restaurant providing tasty curries since opening in 2001. The small cottage-type restaurant is always busy with customers, yet still remains a peaceful eatery, without compromising customer service. The restaurant was a finalist in the Hobart City Council award for excellent service and has been visited and accredited by various celebrities. The unique ambience created in Magic Curries provides a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, with a burning log fire in the winter to keep diners toasty and friendly staff.

The main cuisine served at Magic Curries is North Indian food, specialising in the Punjabi style of dish. Each dish can be personally catered to your tastes, with spice levels ranging from very mild to dynamite hot. A banquet style menu is available as well as a full menu including entrees, chicken, lamb and beef dishes, seafood, vegetarian dishes, breads, sides and desserts. And extensive range of wines, beers, soft drinks, hot drinks and Indian drinks are also available to accompany your food.
