Remi de Provence
Remi de Provence is a unique dining experience, combining the classic and contemporary authentic cuisine of Provence. This bistro is inspired by the earthy, sun-filled produce that grows in the region of France, emphasising on flavour whilst avoiding pretension. Food is sourced as locally as possible, with meats, herbs, vegetables and seafood all from Tasmania, used to produce Remi’s signature dishes.
With Master Sommelier Remi Bancal hailing from the city of Nimes in Provence, Remi de Provence is a complete French experience, combining a bistro, wine bar, fine wine centre and cave à manger. The bistro provides authentic Provincial food, with an a la carte menu, daily specials and the Chef’s special ‘Tasting menu’ designed for two to eight people.
Cheeses, pâtés and terrines from the cave à manger are available to take home or to accompany a drink at the wine bar, where many fine wines can be tasted. The fine wine centre allows for an outstanding collection of wines to be taken home or enjoyed in the bar also.
