Tarkine Wilderness Walks have a number of walks showcasing the unique Tarkine Wilderness. Local guides take you on a stroll through some of the largest temperate rainforests in Tasmania and see the unique fauna and flora found here. The area known as the Tarkine is recognised as being one of the most significant tracts of temperate rain forest in the world.

A number of walks can be joined together to make a day of bushwalking. Group bookings welcome.

Tarkine Wilderness Walks operate from Tarkine Wilderness Lodge, which is just a 35 minute drive from the town of Wynyard, where the Burnie Airport is located.
