Anchor Down Holiday Units, built on the original site of the 3 storey, Palace Hotel, (that was destroyed by fire in 1906), offer six, two bedroom, affordable cottages. All cottages are fully self-contained, with a supermarket close by for all your needs, with easy access to all doors and ground level entry to all cottages making them disability friendly. Cottage 5 is especially designed for disabled people. Your hosts Annie and Max are more than happy to help you with booking services, and point out the local attractions for you. For the keen fisherperson, be sure to take advantage of Max’s local fishing knowledge. They take great pride in their accommodation, and surrounding gardens, winning the 'People's Choice' award for July through to September, as well as 1st prize for the West Coast Commercial Garden Competition for 2010.
