Discover the real taste of Tasmanian beer as brewed by the Boags Brewery, established in 1883. Delve into the history of brewing in the Boags museum in the historic Tamar Hotel.
Tours begin and end at the Boag’s Centre for Beer Lovers; located in the historic Tamar Hotel, which opens from Monday to Saturday. The Centre features three floors of the Boag’s Museum and brewing memorabilia and is home to the official Boag’s merchandise store.
Two brewery tours to choose from:
The Boag’s Discovery Tour, a one hour tour through Boag’s brewery, exploring the processes involved in brewing and packaging Boag’s beer and concluding with a tasting session of four award-winning Boag’s beers.
The Boag’s Beer Lovers Tour, a 1.5 hour tour, offers a more inclusive insight into all phases of the brewing and packaging process, followed again by a tasting of Boag's award winning beers, with a selection of some of Tasmania's finest cheeses.
