Serving up an extensive range of authentic Mexican cuisine using a mixture of imported traditional spices and fresh local produce, Amigo’s welcomes diners in at the heart of North Hobart’s famed restaurant strip. With nearly 30 years of experience in dishing up quality Mexican food, Amigo’s provides diners with a dinner and takeaway menu, as well as a wide range of drinks.
The meals are cooked mild, but can be turned up a notch on request, ranging from warm to 'hurt me' heat. On the menu, you can find a range of traditional Mexican dishes including nachos, burritos, chimichangas and fajitas, all of which are available for takeaway along with a selection of dips and the soup of the day. Amigo’s also has its own specials to offer, including a marinated pork belly and Mexican paella, with dishes being available to suit dietary requirements. An extensive range of Mexican beers and tequilas (the largest in Tasmania, in fact) are also available, whilst the frozen margarita or homemade sangria is recommended.
Amigo’s is also available for functions and events such as birthdays and business functions.
