Enjoy a 30 minute drive south from Hobart to visit the family-owned Home Hill Vineyard, Winery and Restaurant in the Houn Valley. The winery restaurant is known for its use of fresh produce.
Home Hill grows Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Sylvaner grape varieties and produces Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Sylvaner, Sparkling Cuvee and a Late Harvest Sticky wine.
In wanting to bring the natural beauty of the surrounding Vineyard and country side to the Dining experience the Home Hill Winery Restaurant is built out of rammed earth, local hardwoods and polished cement. The restaurant is available for functions, be it a wedding or other special event. Rosemary Bennett is available to work out details to ensure your event runs smoothly. You may wish to entertain your guests with a light banquet such as canapes and drinks. Or our chef could put together a set menu and then again there is the full sit down five course meal. All our banquets are white linen and silver cutlery affairs.
Opening Hours:
Open 7 days for Morning / Afternoon tea & coffee with homemade cakes and biscuits.
Thursday to Monday: Lunch 12pm-3pm
Fri and Sat: Dinner 6pm-late (Bookings required)
The cellar door will be open 7 days a week for free wine tastings and sales between the hours of 11am- 4pm Aug-Sept.
Cellar door open from 10am - 5pm Nov-July
Closed Christmas Day and Good Friday
