The Ironhouse Brewery is part of the White Sands Estate, found 9km south of Falmouth on Tasmania's east coast.
The handcrafted brews are made to traditional recipes by head brewer Michael Briggs from quality ingredients with the water sourced from their own spring. No preservatives or additives are used and no pasteurisation takes place.
Brews include a pilsner, wheat beer, lager, pale ale, stout and a porter which is an English style dark ale.
Iron House commenced brewing operations in 2007. Beers can be purchased online, through selected outlets as well as from the brewery itself. The brewery is open for tastings daily from 8.30am and brewery tours are every Saturday morning from 11am or for groups by appointment.
