Located in the Tamar Valley, Jansz produces award-winning wines. Geographically, it benefits from the cool climate that is moderated by the proximity of Bass Strait, creating ideal winegrowing conditions.

Jansz’ products include Late Disgorged Cuvée, Premium Cuvée NV, Premium Rosé VV, Premium Vintage Rosé, Premium Vintage Cuvée, and Tasmania’s first sparkling wine made according to the traditional méthod champenoise.

In the Wine Room you can taste the wines, listen to a talk by the winemaker, Natalie Fryar, learn about winemaking in the region and find out more about Tasmanian history. At the interpretive centre, learn about the processes involved with creating their world-famous sparkling wine.

Have a wander around the vineyard and take in the beautiful scenery of Piper’s Brook and beyond as you pass the vineyards and the lake situated within the estate. Be sure to order one of the fabulous cheeseboards to enjoy with your glass of wine.

Wine Room Opening Times:

Seven days a week from 10am until 4:30pm.

Closed Christmas Day & Good Friday.

Groups of 10 or more by appointment only.
