Moo Brew

Tasmania

Moo brew is located on the site at Berriedale that also encompasses Moorilla Vineyard and MONA. Brewing commenced in 1995 and has now brews on a second site as well to allow for expansion. Five main beers are brewed, but experimentation continues and presently a barrel-aged vintage stout is available. Usual offerings are a Pilsner, a German-style Hefeweizen, a Belgian Pale Ale, an American Pale Ale and an American Dark Ale. No preservatives or additives are used - just what's needed to make good beer.

The head of the brewery team, Owen Johnston has been with Moo Brew from its early days.

Brewery tours lasting about an hour are available on site Friday & Saturday at 4pm (fee applies). Access is by ferry, bus, car or bike.
