Moores Hill Vineyard is in the Tamar Valley, just thirty minutes from Launceston. Enjoy a drive down the West Tamar Highway and find the vineyard just 300m past the Batman Bridge turnoff. Its first vines were planted in 1997.
The cellar door and tasting room overlook the sloping vineyard, which has 4.5ha planted to vines. Wines produced include Riesling, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Pinot Rose, Cabernet Merlot and Sparkling Blanc de Blancs.
Moores Hill 2013 Riesling won a gold medal at the Canberra International Riesling Challenge.
A Tasmanian Cheese Tasting Plate, Tasmanian Meat Plate and a Tasmanian Seafood Plate are available to sit and enjoy, as well as tea and coffee and soft drinks.
