Just 10 minutes from Launceston CBD in Northern Tasmania and only 15 minutes from Launceston airport is Ryanna Vineyard. Planted in 2005 the 4,000 grape vines here are lovingly cultivated by Gordon and Anna on the 1,000 acre working farm in Waverley.

The mission here at this small, boutique vineyard is to create premium, deeply concentrated and well-balanced wine grapes for superior tasting wine. Ryanna Vineyard employs organic produce wherever possible and utilises the method of hands-on and non-chemical labour. Consequently, the grapes are developed into higher quality, longer aging, tastier and healthier wines. The elegant wines that are created here from the clean grapes are Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Gewurztraminer as these particular varieties are extremely compatible to the cool climate here in Tasmania.

Ryanna benefits from multiple traits including a soft north-south slope, clay-filled organic soil, cool nights and a maximum amount of sunlight during the growing season which all come to create aromatic, full-bodied wines.
