Description

Make the short drive out of Bicheno and into Douglas-Apsley National Park, one of the few uncleared dry forests in Tasmania. You’ll be immediately welcomed by its incredibly diverse setting with river gorges, waterfalls, a eucalyptus forest and the heathlands. Stop in Natureworld and have the opportunity to get up close and personal with the Tasmanian devils, Tasmanian quolls, Wedgetail eagles and an abundance of wallabies. Wind your way along the coast towards Seymour Beach and enjoy a quick stroll on the stunning white sand. Climb up through the Apsley National Park region towards the old mining road. Navigate your way through the winding roads and down towards the coast. Wash your feet in the water on the crystal sands of Four Mile Creek. Relax enjoying a beer or a drop of Tasmanian wine with delicious antipasto, whilst drinking in the stunning ocean views.

Important Information

Maximum group size 5 people. Be aware that the vehicle comfortably fits 4 adults, plus our driver, with the extra seat best suited to a slightly built adult or a young person.
The vehicle will be a 4x4 Toyota Sahara - complete with leather seats, air conditioning and ample leg room. There are large windows for easy viewing, personal temperature control in the back and a 60L fridge on hand.
